The Ministry of Culture is holding a symposium on “Architecture in Our Culture” this evening, presented by the architect Abdul Wahed Al-Wakil, at the headquarters of Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. The symposium comes within the activities of the seminar season, in its second edition, which the ministry is holding in cooperation with Qatar University, the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and Qatar National Library.
The seminars’ season is a live platform and a spacious space to highlight the national culture and enrich it by interacting with global cultures, in addition to its primary role in promoting dialogue between intellectuals and generations of intellectuals on pivotal issues of concern to large sectors of society.
