The Ministry of Culture is participating in the 46th edition of the Kuwait International Book Fair, which kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, and will continue until December 2.

The Ministry’s participation in the exhibition aims to showcase Qatari intellectual production, enhance cultural communication, and display the Ministry’s diverse and new publications.

A number of Qatari publishing houses are also participating in this year’s edition, including Dar Al-Watad, Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press, and Rosa Press.

In this context, Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al-Buainain, Director of the Department of Libraries and Doha International Book Fair, said: “The Ministry of Culture has been keen to participate in the Kuwait International Book Fair for several years, to strengthen cultural relations with the State of Kuwait.

He also stressed that the Ministry’s participation in the fair comes with the aim of building new relationships with workers in the field of culture and the publishing industry, in addition to promoting and displaying Qatari intellectual production, promoting the Doha International Book Fair, and attracting publishing houses to participate in it.
