The Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS) is preparing to launch the activities of “Qatari Youth Forum 3”, which will be held on the 4th and 5th of next February at Ali bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Arena, under the motto “I am here, my nation”. The event aims at building leadership capacities of young people and qualifying them for future success, so that they could assume professional and social leading positions that would help them realize their goals as well as the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030. Similarly, the initiative seeks to empower young people and listen to their ideas and opinions. It also qualifies Qatari youth to manage youth centers and attempts at providing fieldwork opportunities for them.

Within that context, the MCS has announced a competition entitled “Challenge of Ideas”, which will focus on modern technologies and out of the box solutions. The most daring and achievable ideas will be chosen for implementation in practice. Additionally, the Ministry has given special attention to young people who are sent abroad to study, as they are an integral part of the State building process, which is the reason it has been decided to involve them within the activities of the forum. They would provide video messages that show their hopes and aspirations for the post-graduation period, their future view of the rise of Qatar, as well as their thoughts on what this year’s motto “I am here, my nation” means to them.
