Qatar National Day

About the Event

The National Day celebration is held to commemorate the founding of the State of Qatar by the founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed. It is intended to promote loyalty, solidarity, unity and pride in the Qatar’s national identity. The celebration of the QND reaffirms Qatar’s identity and its history, and embodies the ideals and hopes on which the State of Qatar was founded.
