Biography

Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press (HBKU), an affiliate of Hamad Bin Khalifa University, is founded on international best practices as well as in keeping with standards of excellence and innovation in order to provide a unique local and international platform for literature, discovery, and learning and while contributing to build Qatar’s knowledge-based economy. HBKU Press strives to promote the love of reading and writing, establish a vibrant literary culture in Qatar, the Gulf and  Arab countries, and to develop new talents.

Headquartered in Doha, Qatar, HBKU Press publishes various books in different fiction and non-fiction areas along with children’s books and annual reports, in addition to openning access to research and scientific works including academic and reference materials as well as conference proceedings, which are reviewed by specialists in the fields of natural and social sciences.
