The club was established on 27/12/1998, as Al-Ittifaq, but was renamed to Al-Markhiya Sports Club, it is one of the single sports clubs aiming to practice and spread the sports of football and create the necessary means and services to achieve its goals in a way that benefits all members in all social and cultural aspects in cooperation with the relevant authorities
