H.E. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahim Kafoud, former Minister of Education and President of the National Council for Culture, praised the organization of the Doha International Book Fair.
On his participation in the Fair, His Excellency said he was surprised by this good and wonderful organization by the Ministry of Culture in light of the COVID-19 pandemic that is affecting the world. He added that such wonderful organization help to make the Qatari citizen enjoy this Fair, especially in light of the preparations exerted by the Ministry of Culture.
He stressed that this year’s edition is a special one in terms of events, participation and available publications; pointing out that the ministries participate in large pavilions this year and that the Fair contains elite books and publications from the Arab world.
