A sign language course (First and second levels) was concluded at the Qatari Cultural Center for the Deaf, in which a group of girls participated. At the closing ceremony, Mr. Abdullah Al-Mulla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Centre, handed over certificates to the trainees participating in the sign language course, and emphasized that “the center seeks to integrate the deaf and the hearing in society,”. He praised the distinguished capabilities demonstrated by the participants in terms of sign performance. It is worth mentioning that a course was organized for “Sign language” under the supervision of Mr. Faisal Saleh Al-Marri, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Center. Lectures were given by Ms. Aisha Jarrar and Ms. Maysam Badr, experts and trainers of sign language at the Centre. The course was characterized by a remarkable interaction on the part of the participating trainees, in terms of providing a strong sign performance according to the foundations of sign language.
