The Qatari Cultural Center for the Blind organized a lecture entitled “Influential Persuasion Skills” by trainer/Noura Al-Marri, during which several themes were highlighted, including: concept of persuasion and its importance, uses of persuasion, rules of influential persuasion, its means and tools.

The persuasion was defined as a studied organized effort that uses different means to affect the opinions and ideas of others, so that they agree and accept a view on a specific topic, and indicated that the importance of persuasion falls in achieving goals faster, through the use of all capabilities and abilities at a high level of efficiency.

She pointed out that the parties to the persuasive process include the sender and the recipient, and she defined each of them and stressed the importance of both of them in achieving the purpose of the persuasive process.
