He said, “Through this coexistence, for many years, I felt the need to present the Holy Qur’an or read the Holy Quran in a way that fits with the reality in which we live, and answers the questions of this generation in all its categories, so I started with a scientific study followed by writing.”

He explained that the word “councils” meant that the matter was done in a scientific and practical manner, indicating that the objective unity was the reason for selecting each pause in the book. As for the word “light” that came in the title, he said, “We try through it to find what guides us to the truth Emphasizing that the Qur’an does not talk about fragmented morals, but it contains an interconnected system, which is what we mean by the practical side. where knowledge of the ability to respond and deal with life challenges through pondering the meanings of the Book of God.

For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ansari talked about his experience in reviewing the book, and said: Dr. Ayyash offered us to hold a council to review the book, which lasted for a year, twice a week,  so that we read part by part of the book and review its jurisprudential questions, then these notes were written down, and we used to enjoy and benefit from the new views, as it touches the reality of society, as we saw in it something similar to scientific school, except that it had a great benefit, expressing his happiness when the requests for printing the book increased, as It has arrived in many countries now.

He also dealt with the method of division through which the work was done, so each council had a title, which was taken into account so that the matter would be easy for the reader, explaining that the addressees of the book of the Councils of Light are all segments of the Muslim society, so this work is a speech to the worlds because it is an attempt to bring the Qur’an closer to the language of the era, An exception may be made for researchers in specialized Sharia fields. Because whoever studies exegetical narrations or what is called “interpretation by tradition”, or researches doctrinal and jurisprudential weightings, or other specialized chapters of interpretation, will not find what he needs in this book. As it is an attempt to read the Holy Quran in a way that suits the requirements of life. It is a way of life that applies to all Muslims. In short, it facilitates the practical and behavioral understanding of the verses of the Holy Quran.
