The Minister of Culture honors the heads of committees and entities participating in the National Day activities in Darb Al Saai

His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Thani, the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the National Day Celebrations, honored the heads of the committees, events and entities that participated in the National Day activities in Darb Al Saai, during the period from November 25 to December 18, and achieved great success. and witnessed a huge public turnout.

His Excellency the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the National Day Celebrations, during the honoring ceremony, thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the National Day activities in Darb Al Saai, by saying that: “This work reflects your magnanimity, so yes you are the support, and yes you are the help, and the best work you provided, and in an exceptional circumstances such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, you proved that we are able to consolidate our Qatari culture and identity, and you proved to the whole world that our Qatari identity is very important to us and we will not abandon it, and this honor is only a feeling from a brother to you in appreciation of your efforts.

During the ceremony, His Excellency honored the Qatari Center for Cultural and Heritage Events, the Media Committee, the Sponsorship and Communication Committee, the Military Music Band, the Security Committee, the Security Permits Team, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in addition to honoring all the heads of the events participating in Darb Al Saai.

The honors also included the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Voluntary Center, the Director of the Volunteer Strategy Department at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the founder of the Kind Touches Team, and the founder of the Young Volunteer Team, in addition to a group of volunteers as well.

This year, Darb Al Saai witnessed the largest gathering of cultural, artistic and literary events, over a period of 24 days, with a rich package of intellectual seminars, poetry evenings, theatrical performances, and visual arts, aimed at highlighting the Qatari culture, national identity, and authentic heritage.

The National Day celebrations in Darb Al Saai represented a great opportunity to highlight our authentic heritage, our national identity, and our rich culture to the whole world, as Darb Al Saai received a great turnout from citizens, residents, and World Cup fans of various nationalities, to see an important aspect of our honorable history.
