Within the framework of the keenness of the Visual Arts Center of the Ministry of Culture to introduce the classics of art and to shed light on the famous artistic doctrines, a training course was held to introduce the cubic art, where a series of educational sessions were devoted to training on this form of visual arts on pottery models. The workshop, which was launched yesterday and extends over three consecutive days, aims to introduce the participants to the cubic art school and its most important pioneers and their artistic methods and their application to pottery. The workshop is presented by artists Hala Saleh Al-Sayed and Sabah Nour Al-Deen, and it targets the girl age group of 11 to 15 years old, and is held at the Center’s headquarters in Al-Aziziyah city.

Yesterday, the Center also launched another workshop entitled “Qatari Heritage in Watercolors”, which will be held over two days, while next Sunday it will start a new workshop entitled “Landscape Painting”, in addition to a workshop that aims at gathering artists and amateurs of painting, which is offered on Sundays and Wednesdays of each week until the end of this month.

These workshops come within the framework of the Center’s keenness to target youth groups by offering them many of its courses.
