The Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Deaf and the Qatari Red Crescent have launched a series of health lectures within their Health Awareness Campaign-2022, as part of strengthening community cooperation and partnership in humanitarian activities and programs between the two entities. Both entities prepared an integrated program within the health awareness campaign. The program involves two lectures a month till the end of the present year, specialized sessions on first aids in various fields, and other sessions and lectures in line with world health occasions such as the World Kidney Day, World No Tobacco Day, World Day for Safety at Work, World Asthma Day, and World Mental Health Day. The first lecture entitled Health and Safety Behaviors for the Prevention of Transitional Diseases: The New Lifestyle, came as part of the national campaign against Covid-19. Experts Aisha Jarrar and Maysem Bader translated the lecture into sign language.
