The Country Authors’ Forum held a training workshop entitled “Short Story Writing Skills,” presented by author and publicist Andalus Ibrahim. In her opinion, writing is the second most important post-reading for stimulating human thought and imagination, developing human culture, and expanding cognition, as well as its role in character development and life skills development, as well as a potential talent and career that can be mastered.

She reviewed inspiring examples of Arab and foreign writers who managed to succeed in the field of writing thanks to their talent and determination to achieve their dream, including the poet and writer of Qatari children’s stories, Dr. Hessa Al-Awadi, and the success story of the American writer Richard Paul Evans,

Ms. Andalus began the workshop by explaining the concept of writing as a means of social transmission of ideas and opinions among people by writing them down on paper or otherwise.
