Yesterday, His Excellency Sheikh Jawan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, held a workshop with heads and executives of sports clubs on the strategy for the preparation of national elections for the Doha 2030 Asian Games in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports, and His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, Secretary General of the Olympic Committee and directors of departments.

 

During the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Jawan bin Hamad Al-Thani stressed the need to begin preparing teams for the Asian Games – Doha 2030 – in order to ensure the best possible results at the Asian Games – Doha 2030, in line with the renaissance witnessed by Qatari sports in light of the support and attention Which you get from good leadership.

 

The President of the Qatar Olympic Committee praised the great role played by sports clubs and their tangible efforts in developing the levels of athletes, which had a clear impact on the achievements of Qatari sports at various levels, the latest of which was the historic achievement in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, by obtaining two gold medals. And a bronze medal.

 

His Excellency Sheikh Jawan bin Hamad Al-Thani also stressed the importance of concerted efforts and joint action between the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Qatar Olympic Committee and all sports federations and clubs to achieve the objectives of the strategy for the preparation of national teams for the Doha 2030 Asian Games.

 

For his part, His Excellency Salah Ben Ghanem Al-Ali, Minister of Culture and Sports, commended the cooperation between clubs and sports federations, which played a significant role in achieving the achievements, and the importance of continuing such cooperation in pursuit of the goals of Qatari sport.

 

It is noteworthy that the vision of the strategy for preparing the teams for the Doha 2030 Asian Games is to lead in achieving medals at the Asian level by supporting and developing federations and athletes to raise the level of performance and excellence in the Asian Games – Doha 2030.
