The Ministry of Culture and Sports is organizing a number of events that contribute to the development of innovative and creative skills among Qatari youth. This brings together many participants to exchange ideas and insights for the benefit of the participants. Last month, the Ministry announced the organization of the Challenge and Innovation Forum under the theme “With Minds We Solve Knots “starting from 6 to 11 of next November, as part of the Doha event, the capital of culture in the Islamic world, 2021.
The Challenge and Innovation Forum, which is considered to be unique in the region, includes a number of competitions, events and interactive scientific programs aimed at motivating and encouraging all segments of the Qatari and international community from the youth category to participate in this huge event.
During a public survey on the advantages and benefits to Qatari youth from holding this forum, Mr. Ghanem Al-Kuwari said that it is necessary to hold such forums more than once a year in order to introduce and publicize youth activities in general, as it is a vast area for exchanging experiences among them. Especially if the event brings together young people from several countries with diverse experiences and ideas, such as the “Challenge and Innovation” forum that the Ministry of Culture and Sports intends to hold represented by the Qatar Scientific Club. Of course, it will come back positively to Qatari youth. It is a good opportunity to gain scientific expertise for all Qatari youth interested in the field of innovations and inventions, as it is an opportunity to exchange discussions, ideas, knowledge and experiences, of course, all in the interest of preparing these young people and qualifying them well in order to contribute to the development and building of the country.
Sheikh Ali bin Salman Al Thani added: I invite young people to interact and engage in various youth activities and programs that contribute to refining their skills and empowering them to contribute to this precious nation, noting that the Innovation Challenge Forum of the Ministry of Culture and Sports represented at the Qatari Scientific Club is a real opportunity for young people to participate and to make the most of their potential as all participants share their ideas, experiences and expertise, which will benefit everyone, it naturally gives impetus to the event and adds to the efforts of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Sheikh Ali bin Salman explained that the Ministry’s Idea of setting up a scientific forum like this is the best sign that there is a genuine desire to support the talent of innovators and the lovers of this scientific area, and that of course will benefit our country, because these young people will participate in Qatar’s renaissance because nations develop through their scientists and intellectuals.
And as we follow, there is great interest on the part of the Ministry and the Scientific Club to produce this event in the best way and in a manner befitting the name of Qatar. I am also confident that the youth of Qatar will do their best in this forum, as we are used to our youth achieving good results in scientific forums and exhibitions.
Saleh Al-Abdullah said that the use of such forums was significant, as they contributed to the development of young people’s skills, develop their ideas and innovations, and transform them from just a mere idea into a project, as well as helping them to learn about updates in the field of innovation, technology and technologies on an ongoing basis.
These events also stimulate young people to participate in upcoming forums that shall reflect positively on them. They also instill the spirit of competitiveness and the pursuit of scientific, cultural and even social achievements in them in order to build a promising youth future. They also contribute significantly to self-development. In turn, it reflects on the behavior of Qatari youth in their communities and promotes communication skills and intellectual and mental skills development, which in turn is in favor of the realization of Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
Al-Abdullah added that there is good preparation for the Challenge and Innovation Forum, as it is an event that will bring together innovative youth from several countries. We can also notice, there is media interest in the event as well, and if this indicates anything, it indicates the value of this event and the desire of the Ministry of Culture and Sports to make it a success, as it is being held in the name of our country, Qatar, and within the activities of Doha event, the capital of culture in the Islamic world.
