The Qatari Forum for Authors, through its social media accounts, announced the launch of two new events. The first program is “Integrated Society” program which aims to promote family cohesion. It is broadcasted at 7p.m every Wednesday, via YouTube, and the second event, Think and Thinkers, which is broadcasted at 7pm on Tuesday, 27 July.

 

The aim of the Forum, through the program “integrated society,” is to raise the cultural profile of authors and to enhance the awareness of society regarding the role of the family in community integration. Each session hosts specialists to highlight the importance of strengthening the role of the family and to raise awareness about the importance of women and men standing shoulder- to- shoulder for the sake of serving the family, which is the first building block of a balanced society.

 

The program also publishes a series of messages, the most important of which is the need to balance individual desires with family preservation and the need for the constituencies of the society to contain its differences. This event is expected to continue throughout July and August and is presented by a group of young writers.

 

The first introductory episode will be presented by Ms. Maryam Yassin Al Hammadi, General Director of the Forum, and the young Qatari writer, Nasser Yousef Shukri.

 

“Think and Thinkers” seeks to inspire writers and young people by introducing characters, who contribute to inspiring them to improve their lives and the lives of others, and add, as they host characters from around the world, who offer and are continuing to offer role models that people in general, Muslim or non-Muslim, or Arab are proud of everywhere, regardless of nationality or language, is united by humanity united by a true faith that stems from faith, leads to action and devotion and reaches quality, and achieves higher goals.
