The Cultural Committee of the Qatar Sports Club seeks to fulfil the wishes and aspirations of young people on the occasion of the celebration of Arab Youth Day within the programs of the League of Arab States under the supervision of the Department of Youth Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

 

Mohamed Sultan Fakhro, head of the club’s cultural committee, said that the committee’s participation comes under the slogan of persistence, determination and study, achieve your dreams, to stand on the aspirations of young people in light of the circumstances and changes that prevail in the world due to the Corona virus “Covid 19”, pointing to the formation of a committee headed by Dr. Ahmed Mustafa Salem. General Supervisor of the Cultural Committee and the membership of Mr. Ali Al Ghawas Al Marri, Committee Coordinator, Mr. Abdullah Abdul Rahman Fakhro, Activities and Events Officer, and Engineer Muhammad Abdul Wahed Al Fakhro, Programs and Communication Officer, which has been developing a questionnaire aimed at inquiring about the challenges faced by young people in light of the virus, identifying their aspirations and making available The opportunity for young people to express their views and help young people to participate in decision-making.

 

The target group has been identified: 10 to 15 years and 16 to 22 years. The Chairman said that the type of study was a survey to attempt to describe, analyze and interpret the current situation of young people’s aspirations and wishes to have data and results that could be explained and disseminated for future use in the implementation of youth activities and events. It was possible for the site to measure the expectations and wishes of young people that contributed to the development of programs, activities and events.
