Nasser Al-Fadala, head of the committee for membership and elections at Al-kharaitiyat sports club, confirmed that nomination for the club elections was closed yesterday after the end of the club’s official hours, indicating that one list was submitted, which is Sheikh Khalifa Bin Thamer Al Thani’s for club president and Jamal Bin Abdullah Al-Shamlan for vice-president.
“The General Assembly of Al-kharaitiyat sports club”, said Al-Fadala, “will be held on August 11th”. Many items on the agenda will be discussed during the General Assembly, most notably the election of the club’s president and vice-president for the electoral cycle 2020/2024, the formation of the committee for membership and elections and the approval of the strategic plan presented by the president. That in addition to the consideration of matters raised by members, provided that they are submitted at least 10 days prior to the General Assembly.
