Friends of the Environment Center announced the launch of the second edition of the summer remote activity under (I explore) slogan. The activity shall take place during day time, from 12 July 2020 to 13 August 2020 and last for one month. This is attempt by the Center to invest the leisure time of our children members and fuleill their needs and desires during the holiday to their benefit, under the supervision of a competent and multidisciplinary team and within a meaningful entertainment framework.
The program involves a variety of useful activities to transport members from routine and habitual environment to a participatory and competitive one.  Members will be involved in some extracurricular activities, within entertainment environment that suits their abilities and needs, whereas, various workshops are prepared, such as “home-gardening, recycling, healthy food and environmental workshops”.
Mubarak Al-Dossary, Director of the Activities and Programs Department of the Friends of the Environment Center, said that activities will kick off remotely on July 12, and last for about one month. This year’s activities will be conducted online, in ligh of the current situation in the world, due to Coronavirus pandemic, and in line with the precautionary measures we all apply to protect ourselves against the virus. Furthermore, activities will be directed to Qatari youth aged 9 to 13 years old.
