The Music Affairs Center of the Ministry of Culture participated in the activities of Qatar Sustainability Week, where Mr. Khalid Al-Salem, Director of the Music Affairs Center, and a group of artists and musicians planted the center’s headquarters in Bait Al-Sulaiti. Among those who participated in planting trees were poet Abdul Hamid Al-Yousef, Al-Naham Omar Bu Saqr, artist Nasser Suhaim, music researcher Dr. Faisal Al-Tamimi, in addition to director Abdullah Al-Sayegh and others. Through this participation, the Music Affairs Center is keen to instill a culture of environmental sustainability among members of the community, especially artists and music workers.  Qatar Sustainability Week concludes today and is organized by Earthuna Centre, and this year saw the participation of more than 250 entities and partners in the country who organized more than 400 activities and initiatives, in addition to seminars, conferences and technical events on the topics of water, energy, electric vehicles, green buildings and sustainable facilities management.
