Amid distinguished Qatari participation, the activities of the eighth session of the Lebanon International Book Fair 2023 were concluded, and it was organized by the Lebanese Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Lebanese Publishers Union from 13th to 22nd October this year. The Ministry of Culture’s pavilion at the exhibition witnessed visits by a number of officials and intellectuals who learned about various Qatari cultural publications and diverse intellectual production, as well as following the remarkable development of the publishing and printing industry in the State of Qatar.
Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al-Buainain, Director of the Libraries Department at the Ministry of Culture, confirmed that the Ministry of Culture’s participation in the Lebanon International Book Fair aims to enhance Qatari-Lebanese cultural cooperation and interaction, and to expand the circle of cooperation with those working in the field of culture and publishing industry in Lebanon and various countries of the Arab world.
