The Cultural Centre for the Deaf offers new technological services
The Qatari Social Cultural Center for the Deaf has approved a memorandum of understanding with the regional company Gravity (Sinecom), which provides government and private information services through video calls to support and document giving the deaf group their right in society, which is a free service. In this context, the Ministry of Culture and Sports provided support and encouragement. On this joint cooperation between the Center and the Gravity Company (Sinecom).
As part of efforts to provide comprehensive and integrated services for hearing disabilities, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Qatari Social Cultural Centre for the Deaf, Gravity Trade Company and Exhibition Management during the recent period, The memorandum of understanding aims to give effect to overall efforts made in this sector to provide comprehensive and integrated services for the deaf in a modern scientific manner.
The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Mr. Abdullah Al-Mulla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Social Cultural Center for the Deaf, Ms. Moza Al-Mansoori, Secretary General of the Centre, Mr. Faisal Al-Marri, Assistant Secretary-General and Board Member of the Centre, Mr. Yousef Al-Muftah, Treasurer and Board Member, and two sign language interpreters In the center were Ms. Aisha Jarad and Maysam Badr, and in the presence of the General Manager of Gravity for Trade and Exhibition Management, Mr. Rabie Karam.
